TVP launches FTA platform on ASTRA
The public Polish television Telewizja Polska SA (TVP) launched a free-to-air platform on ASTRA on 15th September 2009. TVP has therefore extended its satellite capacity contracts for the use of two transponders at ASTRA’s main orbital position 19.2 degrees East. TVP has been using this capacity since 2005. TVP is the largest public TV broadcaster in Central and Eastern Europe. ››
Amazonas 2 satellite is integrated for launch
Ariane 5’s payload fairing is hoisted into position for installation over Amazonas 2 in the satellite staging area of the Spaceport’s Final Assembly Building. Final payload integration is underway for Arianespace’s fifth Ariane 5 mission of 2009, with the Amazonas 2 telecommunications satellite now encapsulated in its payload fairing. ››
Animal Planet HD in CYFRA+
On 16th of September 2009, subscribers of the satellite platform CYFRA+ have gained an access to Animal Planet HD. Until 11th of November channel can be viewed by all subscribers of the platform with has at least one HD option activated. This is the ninth high-definition channel available in CYFRA+, other ones include: CANAL+ Film HD, CANAL+ Sport HD, National Geographic Channel HD, HBO HD, Filmbox HD, MTVNHD, Eurosport HD and Eurosport 2 HD. ››
TV4 on channel 8 in TNK decoders
On 1st of March 2010 two new stations have been added to the offer of TNK - TV4 (channel 8) and Kino Polska (channel 17). Both channels will be available in a package to recharge. From 1st of April there will be new TNK rates. New clients will not have the possibility of unlimited free watching of 5 basic channels. more ››

Together with the new ADB decoder (ordered by Skymax) designed for TNK television, a new 1-month registration TNK card appeas (TNK green card). n: 697,000 subscribers at the end of 2009
On 6th of January 2010 TVN Group has announced its results for 2009, both in subscriber segment (n television) and prepaid segment (TNK). n's number of subscribers at the end of 2009 was 697,000 with 440,000 TNK clients. TNK and n subscriber base gives a total of 1,137 million. more ››
TV4 added to the offer of n televison
On 23rd of December at 12:00 popular Polish channel TV4 appeared in the offer of n television. TV4 is available in n's EPG on channel 8, between TVN CNBC Biznes and TVN Warszawa. TV4 is a part of "information and entertainment" package. Religia.tv was moved in EPG from channel 8 to channel 11. more ››
Rebel TV on channel 154 in nboxes
N platform subscribers will get access to the new Rebel TV music channel on 15th of December 2009, this date is an official launch day of Rebel TV. n subscribers can already watch test board of a new channel with rock music. Erotic package NOC in n television
From 4th of November 2009 television of the new generation n has added an erotic package NOC (night) to its offer. NOC includes two channels - Blue Hustler and XXX Xtreme for 25 PLN per month. Access to these channelss is protected by a PIN code, regardless of what level of parental control is set on the decoder. more ››
TNK: over 300,000 clients
According to unofficial information gained during SAT Krak 2009 exhibition TNK (Telewizja na karte) had 300,000 clients in mid-October. Official TVN conference with financial results for the third quarter of 2009 will take place on 3rd of November. At the end of September TVN informed about 159,000 active TNK cards. more ››

TVN Group has published estimated financial results for three and nine months that ended on 30th of September 2009 before the publication of an official financial report scheduled for 3rd of November 2009. At the end of third quarter there were 571,000 active n platform subscribers. more ››
